Japanese Diamond Christmas Tree

Diamond Christmas TreeA Japanese department store, The Takashimaya's Nihombashi store in Tokyo is offering a diamond studded Christmas tree for $1.8 million, according to AFP. A Christmas tree with 400 diamonds sourced from southern Africa and Australia weigh100 carats.

The 40 centimeters (16 inches) high tinsel-tree-shaped tower of preserved roses, and accompanied with a souvenir of a teddy bear. Based on a design by Parisian flower boutique Claude Quinquaud. The tree, designed to serve as the centerpiece attraction of the store, will be put on display and open for sale from Wednesday to December 4, the company said.

The yuletide season really coming closer. You can see a christmas tree everywhere but this christmas tree is unique, it is made of fresh flowers and diamonds.
